Aerial Tramway
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway constructed in majestic Chino Canyon on the north edge of Palm Springs. You'll experience a 30-degree difference between the valley floor and the mountaintop where you’ll probably need a sweater even in July! As you climb aboard this rotating tramcar, the beauty of the mountain aerial views will amaze you. And once you’re at the top, the fun really begins with the many activities from hiking to dinner.

Palm Springs Air Museum
The Palm Springs Air Museum houses one of the nation’s largest collections of World War II flying aircraft. These planes are displayed in modern, well lighted, air-conditioned and clean hangars. The Buddy Rodgers Theater shows daily documentaries related to aviation in the military with an emphasis on World War II. The museum sponsors Saturday commemorative educational programs for visitors often including demonstration flights of the aircraft.

Joshua Tree National Park
The park encompasses some of the most interesting geologic displays found in California’s deserts. Rugged mountains of twisted rock and exposed granite monoliths testify to the tremendous earth forces that shaped and formed this land. Just a 60 minute drive from La Quinta, it contains over 1200 square miles of high altitude desert with bizarre geological features and a unique ecological system. You won’t find a better place to climb rocks than at Joshua Tree National Park.

McCallum Theatre
As one of the desert cities' crown jewels, the McCallum Theater has celebrated over 20 years of providing its visitors a world-class performing arts venue diverse in its programming, patrons, and educational opportunities.

The Palm Springs Follies
The world famous Palm Springs Follies is a fabulous celebration of Broadway-caliber music, dance, and comedy of the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s with a cast old enough to have lived it!

The Living Desert
This 1,200-acre interpretive center called the Living Desert showcases exotic animals in a natural setting nestled at the foot of the Santa Rosa Mountains in Palm Desert.
