Welcome to paradise! LQ149 is the perfect quick getaway for singles or couples! This unit offers 682 square feet of living space featuring an upgraded second story and is one of the two one-bedroom condos we have. The living area hosts a queen sleeper sofa and over sized chair perfect for relaxation. HDTV perfect for entertaining along with a fireplace for romantic nights. The suite offers free high-speed WiFi and cable.
Enjoy homemade dinners created in a fully equipped chef’s kitchen which features granite counter tops, 3 bar stools, cookware and dinnerware sets with utensils—just bring your groceries and get creative! When it’s time to retire this condo offers supreme sleeping accommodations. The master suite hosts a king bed, HDTV flat screen and writing desk.
This condo is located on the Embassy Suites grounds, however, is not affiliated with Embassy Suites. You may enjoy their dining room, bar and spa services. Across the street is the Historic Old Towne La Quinta with shopping and superior dining including; Stuft Pizza Bar & Grill, the Grill on Main and La Quinta Brewery. Nitroinfusions liquid nitrogen ice cream is a must! Also offering quaint boutiques and many outdoor events, you don’t ever have to drive to find something to do. This location is only a few minutes from the famous La Quinta Resort & Club professional tennis facilities, golf courses, La Quinta Art Festival, Indian Wells Tennis Gardens, a public library, walking trails, various golf courses and more shopping. 5 miles to the polo grounds which features Coachella fest, Stagecoach Festival and the new Desert Trip. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful long weekend stay and we’re particularly pleased with the proximity to Olde Towne LaQuinta restaurants and shops. It’s a short walk to a variety of excellent dining options. There is also a wonderful Saturday morning Farmer’s Market. Terrific golf is just a short drive, and there are also excellent hiking options. The only downside is the Embassy Suites across the parking lot — hotel guests take up parking space and can be a bit noisy at times. I also couldn’t get the TV remote to work — I followed all of the instructions in the guide book, but once the TV was on, the only remote that worked was the smaller one that took us to Netflix and other similar options.

This is a nice, modest one-bedroom unit near La Quinta town center. Good dining options within walking distance and a great Saturday farmers' market. The unit suited us perfectly as we were out most days sightseeing or hiking. The complex has limited common facilities and the unit is directly across for the entrance and main parking for the Embassy Suites. But we always found a parking space. The kitchen is well-appointed and we enjoyed being able to prepare our breakfasts and several dinners when we didn't feel like going out in the evening.
